Dear Members of the Applicant Review Panel,
I would like to add my strong support for Dr. Gabino Aguirre as an appointee to the Citizens Redistricting Commission. In addition to his proven commitment to public service, his ability to be fair and impartial coupled with his keen analytical skills make him an ideal candidate for the Commission.
Over the past thirty years, I have been in a position to observe his integrity and intellect applied in the various roles he has held in the school district; as a teacher, counselor and finally as Principal of Community High School in Moorpark Unified School District. His distinguished career in this community has been characterized by teamwork with his staff, strong ties with the diverse constituents in the local community and supportive relationships with students from all walks of life.
Dr. Aguirre is a person who thinks deeply about the ethics of every situation and strives to resolve issues in a manner that is fair to all concerned and good for the whole. He is a man who has dedicated himself to the betterment of society through his career and doctoral studies in education and through has public service as an elected official and community volunteer.
