I would like to commend the Citizens’ Redistricting Commission’s diligent efforts to select the most qualified commissioners for this important redistricting process. Mr. Parvenu exemplifies the ability, the interest and the commitment that will engender valuable contributions to the progress of California.
As co-board members of the KRST Unity Center of African Spirituality, I have had many opportunities to observe Mr. Parvenu and his passion for service and “getting the facts straight”. He is a teambuilder who works well as a leader and as a follower, always advocating order, peace and unity. His encyclopedic knowledge, intuitive insight, and charismatic leadership produce many wins for the Center. His diverse travel experiences emerge as
a great appreciation, broad understanding and deep respect for all people.
Mr. Parvenu constantly informs the larger community of upcoming changes, political affairs and economical trends with related brochures, flyers and email. His interest and attendance at these conscious-raising forums are noted and honored. He is a recognized and respected among his peers for his tireless devotion to serving the community, the state and subsequently, for making the world a better place.
