Welcome to the Citizens Redistricting Commission’s Audio Descriptions of the draft California electoral districts. On this page you will be able to access audio descriptions of the commission’s draft Assembly, Senate, Congressional and Board of Equalization districts. The draft districts were released on November 10, 2021 and may have been modified since that date. Regardless of any subsequent changes, your input regarding your community, what areas you believe should be kept together, and what areas you believe should be kept apart is still relevant and will be counted towards the creation of the final maps.
The Audio descriptions may be accessed using the search boxes below.
The first box is for entering the name of a California city or town (not all cities and towns are included).
The second box is for entering a California County.
The third box is for entering the district type (assembly, senate, congressional, or Board of Equalization).
At the menu box enter the California county that you would like to hear the audio descriptions of the districts. For districts in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties, it is recommended that you enter a city in the county.
The search will result in a selection of districts whose links will take you to the audio description. The audio descriptions will open in the commission’s YouTube Channel. Close the link and click on the next district link to proceed.
