Peter Blando is a business systems analyst at the University of California, Davis where he has worked for over 30 years in a variety of leadership and advisory roles. In addition to his professional role at UC Davis, he has served as a volunteer on numerous committees, which included serving as the UC Davis Staff Assembly Chair and as a member of the Council of UC Staff Assemblies to inform senior UC leaders as well as UC Regents about issues and challenges facing university staff across the state.
Mr. Blando is active in his community, serving as a member of the West Sacramento Environment and Utilities Commission to review and provide feedback to the city in those areas. He is a past president and current member of the Rotary Club of West Sacramento Centennial, identifying ways that the club can assist and contribute to the community.
Mr. Blando earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from UC Davis and lives in West Sacramento.
